Sustainability Approach

JSC “Kelių priežiūra” defines sustainability as the responsible use of resources, protection of the environment, social accountability, and adherence to ethical business practices. The principles of sustainability are woven into the company's strategic decisions to ensure long-term benefits for stakeholders. The company's activities focus aligning economic, environmental, and social objectives with a long-term perspective.

Sustainability Principles

JSC "Kelių priežiūra", operating throughout Lithuania and having accumulated significant experience, is committed to its clients, society, shareholders, and employees. Understanding client and societal expectations and the direct impact of its operations on travel and mobility quality, the Company seeks to find balanced solutions that harmonize environmental, social, and economic interests.

JSC "Kelių priežiūra" incorporates its sustainability commitments into everyday operations and decision-making processes. Progress is regularly evaluated, areas for improvement are identified, and sustainable solutions are put into action. When planning sustainability activities, the impact on the entire value chain is assessed based on the available information.

Sustainability priorities

The Company's sustainability strategic topics are determined using the double materiality methodology in accordance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).The purpose of the double materiality assessment is to identify the most significant environmental, social, and governance topics on which the Company's activities are based, sustainability guidelines are prepared, and sustainability reporting is carried out.

The double materiality assessment was carried out at the Company in 2023-2024 and repeated in 2025. Based on the results of the double materiality assessment process and taking into account the opinions of stakeholders, the following priority sustainability topics for the Company have been identified:

Sustainable Development Goals

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), established in 2015, are a set of global targets that must be met by 2030. These goals consist of 17 objectives related to economic, social, and environmental development, along with 169 specific targets. They outline the actions required from countries, businesses, organizations, and individuals. The implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is monitored at three levels: national, regional, and global.

By contributing to the achievement of the SDGs, a company demonstrates its commitment and plays a role in advancing global and national efforts towards these goals.

Sustainability management

Sustainable business culture and practices are implemented according to the Company's Sustainability Policy, which outlines the fundamental principles and commitments related to sustainability. Additional sustainability-related policies can be found on the Company's website.

The Company's Sustainability Guidelines encompass values, strategic directions, and operational processes that align with the principles of the UN Global Compact and contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the objectives of the European Union's Green Deal.

The Strategic Management and Sustainability Department, which reports directly to the Company's CEO, is responsible for integrating sustainability principles throughout the Company. The Sustainability Manager coordinates sustainability activities and ensures that the Company's strategy and objectives reflect sustainability principles. Sustainability issues are periodically discussed by the collegial management and advisory bodies, including the Management Board and the Audit Committee, as outlined in the Company's Sustainability Policy.

Each year, the Company reviews its strategic sustainability goals, objectives, and tasks; updates a list of material impacts, risks, and opportunities; and prepares Sustainability Reports. Sustainability risks are integrated into the Company's overall risk assessment process, as regulated by the Risk Management Policy.

The company's external certifications and accreditations, recognized by authoritative bodies, play a crucial role in demonstrating compliance with best practices and international standards. These certifications enhance policy implementation, reflect a commitment to excellence, and ensure alignment with the company's mission.

Sustainability reports                                                                                                            

The company has included sustainability disclosures in its annual reports since 2020. Until 2024, these disclosures were based on the Global Reporting Initiative standard. Starting in 2024, the provisions of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive 2022/2464 (CSRD) are now in effect.
