Goals
The company employs more than 2,000 specialists in various areas of road maintenance. In winter, they clear snow and spread slip-resistant materials on roads across Lithuania. From spring to autumn, they maintain road signs, ditches, and roadbeds, renew worn-out road surfaces, profile gravel roads, mow roadsides, and care for roadside structures and plantations.
The company's goal is to maintain and manage state roads of national significance, including highways, regional, and local roads. Its objectives are:
1. To fulfil special public service obligations:
– to ensure the maintenance, repair, and rehabilitation of roads of national importance, including motorways, national and regional roads;
– to implement military counter-mobility measures on roads of national importance.
2. To engage in other profitable commercial activities aligned with the State’s strategic expectations.
The company strives to operate efficiently, ensure road safety, consistently organize road maintenance across Lithuania's entire road network, conduct its activities in accordance with the highest standards of transparency, ethics, and social responsibility, and implement modern technologies.
JSC “Kelių priežiūra” reports directly to the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Lithuania.
